EMEA FINANCE AWARDS BKT FOR THE NINTH CONSECUTIVE TIMES AS THE BEST BANK IN ALBANIA 

Tirana, Albania (29 April 2019) - Banka Kombëtare Tregtare has been selected as “The Best Local Bank in Albania for 2018” from EMEA Finance magazine. For the ninth consecutive year “The Best Local Bank in Albania” has been awarded to BKT by this prestigious magazine by emphasizing its evaluation across the years.  
The editorial vision of EMEA Finance magazine is to be ‘the independent voice’ – one that speaks at the highest level of integrity and journalistic ethics – for the financial community, its customers, and suppliers across the EMEA region.

Figures has highlighted the consolidated position of BKT as the largest bank in Albania by being again the Market Share leader in most categories. 

Being not only a bank but a strong partner in which retail and business customer can commit on, gives to them a strong guarantee for the financial future. Despite the increasing competition in the market as per the changes happened in the second level banks, BKT is determined on strengthen its market position.        

BKT has a large network of 94 branches, out of which 67 are located in Albania and 27 in Kosovo, but in the line of the digitalization revolution our customer are increasing self-service banking transaction through our alternative channels by profiting from the new functionalities offered for retail and for business customers through our new ATM, our BKT Smart application or our new version of e-banking.   

During this year even Global Finance magazine as awarded BKT with the price of “The Best Bank in Albania”.
