BANKING
The banking industry faces a new combination of circumstances that are giving special impetus to the need
for efficiency. Changes in customer preferences and expectations, new competition, and new technologies
are transforming the nature of banking.
Throughout 2023, the Commercial portfolio, has a total value of 47.4 Mio USD from 43.8 Mio USD in 2022.
Our contributions extended to key banking initiatives, enhancing digital customer engagement, and
automating processes. These efforts aim to provide a comprehensive product package at BKT, ensuring
customer retention and attracting new clients.
BUSINESS E-BANKING
Business E-Banking has proven to be a top strategic priority, showcasing a significant growth from 2022
to 2023. The total number of active companies increased by 23.3%. Concurrently, the total number of
active users increased by 23.9%. The rise in active companies demonstrates a heightened market interest
and the platform’s effectiveness in fulfilling different business needs. Further, the increase in active users
implies that not only are more businesses utilizing the platform, but existing users are also engaging more
actively. The growth in Business E-Banking from 2022 to 2023 underscores its strategic importance and
market acceptance. In April 2023 order to be more competitive and to increase the usage and to simplify
the business customer in performing daily transaction the limit of the daily transaction of the customer
increase up to 500,000 Euro or more based on the customer request additionally some transaction tax,
bill, government, custom payment, bulk transfer etc. within BKT has no restriction.
BUSINESS DEBIT CARD
Supporting branches and promoting cross-selling aligns with the organization’s broader objectives. The
number of active business debit cards has seen significantly increase of 23.8%, demonstrating a positive
trajectory in customer engagements with our commercial banking offerings. In November 2023 in order to
improve the service provided to business customers who use the business debit card, as well to facilitate
the process of application of the card in the system and automatize and simplify this process, this process
currently is being channeled through PEGA.
