In 2023, BKT has continued its dedication to enhancing digital capabilities
and enriching the online customer experience, with substantial investments in
major initiatives designed to assert a prominent presence in the dynamic digital
landscape of the banking sector. These endeavors reflect our commitment to
digital transformation, not as a one-time initiative but as an ongoing journey
crucial to not only staying abreast of technological trends but also enhancing
the efficiency of our services.

In the course of this year, BKT successfully established a new subsidiary,
BKTPAY, positioning itself as an e-money institution. The comprehensive IT
infrastructure of BKTPAY has been meticulously developed by our in-house
IT professionals, leveraging the cutting-edge capabilities of Microsoft Azure
cloud services. The seamless integration of BKTPAY systems with the bank’s
existing infrastructure ensures a harmonized ecosystem, enabling the provision
of a diverse range of services. This strategic move not only underscores our
commitment to innovation but also reinforces our position as a forward-thinking
financial institution prepared to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
