What should I do to have a BKT Business e-Banking user?

If you are a business customer of BKT, who has an individual/business debit/credit card and you have signed Business Banking Agreement (KSHBB) and the documentation for activation of the BKT Internet branch, you can register in BKT Business E-Banking.
 

What is a customer number or personal number?

The customer number is a number that is given to you when you open a business account at BKT. Customer number is used in the first step of the login process. In this case the customer number and company identifier (NIPT) are both used to entre Business E-Banking.

 

What is a password?

A password is a combination of alphanumeric characters that you have to create during registration process for your security. It should be from 6-16 letters and numbers.

 

What is OTP?

OTP (One Time Password) is a security step of BKT Smart registration and login process. This code is sent to your mobile number registered in BKT system. For an easier login, you can activate the Smart OTP option, register your device, to automatically recognize OTP (one-time password) when entering BKT Smart.
 

What is a virtual keyboard?

Virtual keyboard is an optional keyboard that you can use to avoid the risk of any key attacks of your identification data.
Firstly, go to BKT official webpage www.bkt.com.al, On the right top of the page you will see the option Internet Branch, choose Business. A new window will open and follow the steps below:
  • Click directly “Register Now”
  • Enter Customer Number (9-digit number, part of your account in BKT) or enter your Personal Number (personal number in your ID card) and Company Number or NIPT
  • Enter the captcha (letters in CAPITAL letters)
  • Enter the required data of your debit or credit card issued by BKT
  • Enter the OTP (one-time password) sent to your mobile number registered in BKT system
  • Choose from the list your digital stamp (it will be shown every time you log in)
  • Create an alphanumeric password from 6-16 letters or numbers

 

How can I register in BKT Internet Branch?

What should I do if I forget my customer ID and my password?

If you forget your password, please click directly on “Forgot Password” button and follow the presented steps. If message to contact BKT Contact Center through telephone number
+355 (0) 4 2266 288 is shown, please contact the number shown.
 

What should I do if I block my BKT Internet Branch account?

If your user is blocked, please contact BKT Contact Center through telephone number
+355 (0) 4 2266 288.

 

What should I do if I do not receive any OTP message?

Firstly, you have to control if you are within the coverage area of ​​your GSM network or check your message inbox if it is full. FNP may not be sent to your mobile and as a result of the following reasons:
  1. Error in the online banking system
  2. You do not have the correct mobile phone number updated in your bank data
  3. Theft of customer account data/unauthorized modification of contact number while you continue to own the same phone number
If you verify that the failure did not occur because of factor 1 and 2, please contact the BKT Customer Call Center immediately at phone number (0)4 22 66 288.
Otherwise, you should check and renew the registration of your mobile number in one of the BKT branches.

 

Can I change my password?

If you want to change your password, please go to Settings menu of BKT Internet Branch and Choose Change Password menu. Or you can go directly to “Forgot Password” option at the login page of Internet Branch and follow the steps presented. For security reasons, you will be asked to change your password every 90 days.

What should I do if I lose my mobile phone?

In any case you lose your mobile phone, you have to cancel your SIM Card as soon as possible in order to avoid any risk referring the receiving of the OTP during the Login process and/or call BKT Contact Center number +355 (0) 4 2266 288, in order to take additional action for your account security by blocking the Internet Branch account.

 

What should I do if I receive an OTP message from BKT, although I haven’t tried to login?

Please try to change your password if possible and/or contact to BKT Contact Center number +355 (0) 4 2266 288, in order to take additional action for your account security.

 

What are the tips for BKT Internet Branch security?

Can I access BKT Internet Branch if I’m not in Albania?

You can also access BKT Internet Branch from outside of Albania. There is no additional requirement, you just need to have the same mobile number registered in BKT system and it should be active.
 

Which browsers can I use to login to BKT Internet Branch?

It is suggested to access BKT Internet Branch on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Safari.
 

When can I use BKT Internet Banking?

You can use BKT Internet Banking during 24 hours.
 

When can I make financial transactions at BKT Internet Banking?

There is no period for financial transactions (Exception: You cannot make any financial transaction during daily update process which begins at 9 PM and continues until midnight).
 

What should I do if I cannot perform a financial transaction?

If you cannot perform a financial transaction, you will be informed with a specific error message about the reason. If a general system error message is shown, for additional details please contact BKT Contact Center through telephone number + 355 (0) 4 2266 288.
 

Is there a Help menu?

There is a help menu “?” for each menu and submenu. You can find it at the top of each page which gives you details about the menu item that you want to use under the icon “?”.

 

Can I update my personal data online?

You can update your address or email address online and to do so you have to go to menu:
In BKT Internet Branch go to Settings/ Contact Information or Personal Information and add or modify your information.
In BKT Smart go to General Information/ Contact Information or Personal Information and add or modify your information.
 

What should I do if I have any complain or suggestions about BKT Internet Banking?
